I Was Afraid This Might Happen – Toronto Interior Design Show 2017 – Part 4
I was afraid this might happen.
You know how celebrities forget to eat, wear underwear and how to behave on commercial flights? Well I totally forgot to tell you about the Simon Chang Beauti-Tone Paint booth at the Toronto Interior Design Show!!! My fame is already impacting my ability to focus on the things that really matter. Let’s just put the finishing touch on trends in flooring and walls for 2017.
Anyhow, the Beauti- Tone Paint booth was not a booth – it was a sea of sophisticated and stylish design professionals exuberantly filling their (my sister will love this!) tote bags with complimentary quarts of paint and nail polish in the 2017 Beauti-Tone Colour of the Year – “You Look Mauve-lous”.
Best of all was the truly fun way Beauti-Tone chose to showcase the Simon Chang Trend Colours of the Year, painted high heels in all of the 2017 Trend Colours! Isn’t that just so ingenious?!?! Everyone was really intrigued.
Blue Me Away SC148-0
Yellow Polka Dot Bikini SC155-4
And… (champagne please!) You Look Mauve-lous SC169-0
This is it – the Simon Change 2017 Colour of the Year (not to be confused with the Pantone Color of the Year – which is the industry standard) You can read more about the colour right from Simon’s own mouth here. Basically it’s a greyed down mauve. Interchangeable.
Thoughts? Feelings? Bubbly Champagne? Flat Beer? What’s your take?
The colour doesn’t read super well on screens – maybe I’ll paint my nails that colour so you can take another look. I have 121 bottles left.
Last but not least – the big F.
Yours in Décor,
*It gets confusing – Home Hardware owns Beauti – Tone Paint who hired Simon Change (famous Canadian clothing designer**) to develop a trend colour collection – which is actually called the Simon Chang Model Home Trend Colour Collection.
**But not as famous as you know who
